Kim Hye Young is a South Korean comedian and host. She graduated from Shinkwang Girls’ High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Film from the Seoul College of Arts.

She participated in the 1981 MBC Comedy Contest and, after the show, she became part of the 3rd open recruitment for comedians at MBC.

In 1987, she began hosting a radio show and spent the next 33 years as the host alongside senior comedian Kang Seok until they retired from the show in 2020.

In 1997, she was diagnosed with glomerulonephritis, an inflammation and damage to the filtering part of the kidneys, and she has struggled with the disease ever since.

She often appears on social studies' shows like "Morning Yard" and provides narration for documentaries.
