Shiraishi Naomi was a Japanese actress and culinary researcher born in Vancouver, Canada. Her birth name was Nakajima Naomi (中島奈緒美). She was previously the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Koreisha Journal," focusing on issues related to aging society.

She graduated from Musashino Women's College.

In 1955, he joined the Radio Tokyo Broadcasting Troupe as a member of the fourth intake. Initially, she aspired to be a director, but she shifted her focus to acting after being told that there were no female directors in the KR Broadcasting Troupe.

In 1956, she was scouted by Toho and signed a contract while still being a member of the theater company. She made her debut in the movie "Wakodono no Gaika".
