He began his acting career as a student. In 1954, he joined the Haiyuza Theatre Company Training Institute. In 1960, he joined the Tokyo Actor's Consumer Cooperative Society. In 1961, he signed a contract with Toho.
After leaving Toho's exclusive contract, he joined Kumazawa Productions.
There is no record of his activities in the entertainment industry after 1984. According to testimony from Kotani Shosei, a former Toho director, Suzuki has already passed away.
