Shimegi Shigako is a Japanese actress born in Kanda, Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from Atomi Gakuen High School.

After training at the Actor's Training Institute, she joined the Bungakuza theater company. From around 1960, she was active mainly in movies and TV dramas produced by Nikkatsu, Daiei, and Toei. She retired from the entertainment industry in the early 1970s.
