Miyakoshi Kiyoshi is a Japanese film director specializing in television dramas. He is from Toyama, Japan. He currently serves as the chairman of the NPO Society for the Promotion of Period Dramas.

While attending the Faculty of Arts at Nihon University, he was a member of the Swordfighting Comrades Association.

He appeared in several movies and dramas as an actor.

At the age of 21, he began working on direction under Tsuchii Tsuyoshi. In 1973, he made his directorial debut with a production from Mifune Productions. Since then, he has worked as a freelance director.
