He is best known for his roles as the voices of Mirao Kyao in Heavy Metal L-Gaim; Mont Blanc Noland in One Piece; Yazan Gable in Mobile Suit Zsta Gundam; Sendo Akira in Slam Dunk; Signalman in Gekiso Sentai Carranger; Imagin Deneb in Kamen Rider Den-O, Abuto in Gintama; Soda Makoto in Captain Tsubasa; Jiraiya in Naruto, Takagi Junjiro in The Idolmaster, Dr. Ni Jianyi in Saiyuki and Urokodaki Sakonji in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
He is also known for dubbing Jean-Claude Van Damme, Donnie Yen (especially in Ip Man series), Jeff Goldblum, Ray Liotta, Richard Jenkins, John C. McGinley, Brent Spiner, Greg Kinnear and many other roles. He was also the first dubbing voice actor of Kiefer Sutherland and Christopher Lambert in their early days.
