Asao Okuyama IV was a kabuki actor from the Kansai region born in Kyoto, Japan.

He apprenticed under the third-generation Asao Daikichi and debuted on stage as Asao Sekizaburo (浅尾関三郎). In January 1930, he inherited the stage name Okuyama Asao IV.

In 1955, he ventured into films at the invitation of Hasegawa Kazuo, joining the Daiei Kyoto studio. He appeared in movies and Toho kabuki for approximately ten years before returning to kabuki while continuing his career with Toho.
