Kondo Mieko was a former Japanese actress born in Nagoya, Aichi. She served as the Miss Universe Japan representative in 1954. She graduated from Adachi Women's Teachers College.

In 1954, she participated as the representative of the Chubu region in the Miss Universe Japan competition held at the Sankei Building in Osaka and was selected as the Miss Universe Japan representative from among the representatives of 11 regions nationwide. In July of the same year, she served as the Japanese delegate at Miss Universe 1954, the third edition of the global pageant held in Long Beach, USA.

Following her pageant success, she embarked on a career in the film industry, joining Daiei Film Co., Ltd. After six months of rigorous acting training, she debuted on the silver screen as the lead actress in "My Daughter's Life Guide".

She retired following her marriage and did not engage in entertainment activities thereafter.
