Before debuting, he spent 4 years as a trainee at Maroo Entertainment and was a backup dancer for former WANNA ONE member Park Ji Hoon.
After switching agencies, he became a trainee at PLUSWIN Entertainment in early 2020 and was set to become part of their new idol group, SHOOTER-X (슈터엑스). Unfortunately, the agency kept postponing their debut date and he decided to leave the agency in early 2022, effectively disbanding the group without even debuting.
In November 2023, he signed with Howling Entertainment (하울링엔터테인먼트) and he finally made his debut in January 2024 as WAKER's dancer with their first mini-album, "Mission of School".
