Park Sandara, also known as Dara, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actress, model, and member of 2NE1 (투애니원). She moved to the Philippines in 1995 due to her father business. She is the older sister of former MBLAQ member Park Sang Hyun (known professionally as Thunder).

She made her debut in 2004 when she appeared in the ABS-CBN reality show "Star Circle Quest", where she gained notable popularity and became well-known in the Philippines. She signed a contract with ABS-CBN's subsidiary, Star Magic, and made her acting debut in November of that year with a role in the movie "Bcuz of U". She also released her debut album, "Sandara" and became the only album by a South Korean to be certified platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry.

She returned to South Korea in 2007 and became part of YG Entertainment (YG엔터테인먼트) later that year as rumors of a new girl group labeled as the female version of BIGBANG began circulating online.

She made her Korean debut in March 2009 as 2NE1's vocalist, sub-rapper and visual with the digital single "Lollipop", recorded alongside BIGBANG members as a promotion campaign for a cellphone by LG. Their first official EP, "2NE1", was released in May of that year, and the lead single, "Fire", became an instant hit, and the group's popularity increased. They became known for their musical experimentation, fashion, and stage presence and they are recognized for expanding girl group styles in the South Korean music industry. They also were the first girl group to have a world tour and held concerts in several countries.

The group went on hiatus in early 2014 as all members began focusing on their individual activities. Then, in November 2016, YG announced 2NE1's disbandment as the group had been on a nearly two-year break, and all members were focusing on individual activities. She returned to the Philippines to act in a few dramas and also appeared in dramas and variety shows in South Korea.

She signed with Abyss Company (어비스컴퍼니) in September 2021 after being part of YG for 17 years.

In July 2024, she reunited with the other 2NE1 members to celebrate their 15th anniversary and performed in music shows and held several concerts. YG announced that the concerts will continue in 2025 as they will remain active for the time being.
