In 2023, he entered MBC M's survival show "Fan Pick" and ended up in 6th place. As a result, he signed a contract with TNK Entertainment (TNK엔터테인먼트) and was set to debut with the resulting group, PICKUS (피커스) in April 2024. He had recorded all the lines for their debut album and was part of the music video, but abruptly, he decided to quit the group and terminated his contract with the company one week before they were scheduled to debut. Neither the agency nor he ever provided a reason for his departure.
