After winning a prize at the 1991 MBC Riverside Song Festival, she made her debut in 1993 as an idol singer with the single album "Tiger Lady". Unfortunately, despite great support from major corporations, she decided to stop promoting in early 1994.
She returned to the industry in 2000 and switched to trot music. She released several singles that were popular among the public. Between 2012 and 2015, she also became an MC for an amateur song competition airing on regional MBC stations.
She is also starting to get involved in musicals and continues to appear in trot-related events and festivals.
