Okuda Seiji is a Japanese film producer born in Aizu, Fukushima, Japan, and raised in Otowa, Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. He is a board member of the Tokuma Memorial Animation Cultural Foundation and the president of the Japan Film and Television Producers Association. He has held various positions at Nippon Television Network Corporation, including head of the Film Center, the Film Programming Department, and the Film Business Department, as well as acting director of the Business Affairs Division. He joined Nippon Television in 1980 and worked in the programming department before moving to the film business department in 1984, where he managed the acquisition of broadcast rights for “Friday Roadshow.”

He has been an Executive Producer in the Film Planning Department at Shochiku Co., Ltd. since June 1, 2016. As of January 1, 2017, he was seconded to Shochiku. Okuda graduated from Ochanomizu University Junior High School, Tokyo Metropolitan Kitazono High School, and Meiji University’s Faculty of Political Science and Economics.
