Kana Asumi is a Japanese voice actress, singer, and stage actress from Fukuoka, Japan, affiliated with 81 Produce.

As a high school student, Asumi auditioned for and joined the Fukuoka-based voice acting unit "Koume Go," participating as a second-generation member from March 1999 and as a fourth-generation member from April 2001, including involvement in the KBC Radio program "Heisei Anime-chan Club."

After "Koume Go" disbanded, she moved to Tokyo to attend junior college and developed an interest in voice acting through her experience as a radio personality. She earned qualifications as a kindergarten teacher and childcare worker, gaining about a year of practical experience before focusing full-time on voice acting. She worked as a temp and part-time worker before joining Broccoli in October 2004 and changing her stage name to Asumi Kana.

In February 2005, she won a public audition for the role of Patty Aria in the game "Cross World ~Unknown Sky Eternia~" and became a regular on the related radio show "Cross World Radio." She co-formed the voice acting unit "CW/3" and joined the unit "G.G.F." on May 5, 2005, which disbanded on March 18, 2006.

On April 1, 2006, she joined Voice and Heart. She moved to 81 Produce on January 7, 2008. On July 27, 2010, she co-formed the voice acting unit "LISP," which debuted on October 27 and went on hiatus after a live performance on July 31, 2011.

On January 15, 2014, she announced her marriage on her blog. On December 31, 2021, she disclosed that she had divorced three years earlier, remarried, and had a baby in 2022.
