Wang Jing Chun

In 1992, after graduating from vocational school, Wang Jing Chun was assigned to work at Xinjiang Department Store for three years where he met director Lang Chen, a graduate of Beijing Film Academy. After studying with director Lang Chen for two to three years, he applied to a professional art school. He would later graduate from Shanghai Theatre Academy after being granted special admission for being an over age student.
On June 6, 2015, he registered for marriage with Li Jing (李晶); the couple held their wedding in Chengdu on March 7th of the same year.
In 2019, Wang Jing Chun won Best Actor at the 32nd Golden Rooster Awards and Best Actor at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival. He also won Best Actor at the 26th Tokyo International Film Festival.
