Chen graduated from the Department of International Trade at San Hsin Home Economics & Commerce Vocational High School (高雄市私立三信高級家事商業職業學校) and the Department of Applied English at Yu Da College of Business (育達商業技術學院).

She began her career as a fashion model in 2004 and made her acting debut in Beautiful Clinic (好美麗診所).

She was married to a designer from 2008 to 2009.
