Okamoto Ryuta is a Japanese actor born in Kunitachi, Tokyo, Japan. He spent his middle and high school years in Osaka and studied law at Senshu University. While in university, he worked as a regular model for "MEN'S CLUB" and gained attention at Tokyo Fashion Week and with fashion houses such as CK and Burberry. In 2000, he traveled to Hong Kong and Singapore, where he was active in the Asian fashion industry. Upon returning to Japan, he shifted his focus to acting and, in 2009, founded the model agency SUPERBALL.
