Kim Seong Myeon, known professionally as K2, is a South Korean singer, composer, and former member of IRON ROSE (철장미를) and PINOCCHIO (피노키오). He graduated from Yeouido High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Suwon University.

While attending university, he formed the band IRON ROSE and became well-known in the heavy metal and rock worlds by performing with SINAWE and BOOHWAL.

In 1992, he made his official debut as a vocalist for PINOCCHIO with their album, "To You Who I Meet Again". The band gained popularity a few years later with the single "Between Love and Friendship".

In 1995, while serving in the military, he formed the band K2 alongside drummer Lee Tae Seop. Both released their album, also titled "K2", but after promotions ended, Lee left to form his own band. He then decided to continue promoting under the stage name K2.

He rarely appears on TV as he prefers to perform in concerts and music festivals.
