Kim Kyung Il is a South Korean psychologist, professor, and book author. He graduated with bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Psychology, all from Korea University. He later obtained a second Ph.D. in Psychology (with a different sub-specialization) from the University of Texas at Austin.

He is one of the most well-known psychologists of the country and he focuses his research on cognitive psychology. He is currently a full professor at Ajou University.
