Seochan is a South Korean singer, dancer, and former member of WEUS (위어스). Before debuting, he spent 2 years as a trainee.

He was part of the pre-debut group since 2022 (under the stage name Seungyeon). However, he left the group in early 2023 for undisclosed reasons before they debuted.

The group debuted in May 2023, but a few weeks later, several members decided to leave the group. The agency, WEUS Entertainment (위어스엔터테인먼트), began conversations to bring him back to the lineup. He was added in June 2023 (now using the stage name Seochan) as the new rapper, main dancer and maknae with their second single album, "Starry Dream".

All the members entered the Japanese singing survival show "Re:Born" but were not successful. At the same time, the agency began having several unexplained lineup changes and prolonged inactivity on the group’s social media. The fans speculated the group had quietly disbanded, and that was confirmed by 2 members in September 2025.

In late 2025, he was announced as a new member of idol group CHASER (체이서 / チェイサー). He was removed from the final lineup just a few months before debuting. His current status in the entertainment industry is unknown.
