Vinci Wong is a Canadian actor of Hong Kong origin, with ancestral ties to Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. He grew up in Vancouver, Canada, where he graduated from the University of British Columbia and worked as a radio host for Voice of the Chinese in Vancouver. After returning to Hong Kong, he pursued a career in television, working for both TVB and Asia Television (ATV).

In addition to his entertainment career, Wong has been involved in business, serving as the managing director of Sam Wong Group Ltd., a Chinese medicine and health products company that closed in 2017. He also held leadership roles, including chairman of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in 2018, and he is currently an executive director at Wang's Holdings, a company founded by his father, Wong Chung Tung.

Wong has family connections in the entertainment industry, with actor Kevin Cheng as his cousin and actress Anne Heung as his aunt. In March 2013, Wong publicly came out as gay on the RTHK program “We Are Family,” revealing his relationship with a Macanese man who had moved to Los Angeles. In 2016, he married Kevin Chow, a barista, in Vancouver, Canada.
