Before debuting, he was an independent trainee who was entirely self-taught in singing and dancing. In October 2024, he entered JTBC's survival show "Project 7", where he finished in 4th place, earning a spot in the resulting project group. They are managed by Uncore (언코어), and their contract is expected to last for 3 years.
He made his debut in April 2025 as the group's maknae with their first mini-album, "Eternalt".
