Sung Min
- Name: Sung Min
- Native name: 성민
- Given name: Lee Sung Min
- Also Known as: 이성민, Seong Min, Lee Seong Min, Vincent Lee
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: January 1, 1986
- Age: 39
He was recruited by SM Entertainment (SM엔터테인먼트) in 2001 after winning 1st place for the Best Outward Appearance at the SM Youth Best Contest. Lee Soo Man wanted to create a versatile group with members who had experience in different fields (acting, dancing, presenting, etc.). He based his idea on the Japanese girl group MORNING MOSUME (モーニング娘), who debuted in 1997 and established a successful rotation of their lineup since then. He called his new group, SUPER JUNIOR 05.
He made his acting debut in 2005 with a role in the drama "Sisters of the Sea".
He made his singing debut in November 2005 as the group's lead vocalist, lead dancer and visual with their first single, “Twins (Knock Out)“, part of their debut album "Twins", which was released one month later. The idea of a rotational group was dropped when Cho Kyu Hyun was added to the lineup in 2006. Nonetheless, SUPER JUNIOR has become one of the most successful K-Pop representatives and their ability to excel in different areas of the entertainment industry forced a change in the way other companies prepared their trainees.
As part of SM's strategy to not limit the group's activities while certain members focused on their individual careers, several sub-groups have been created since their debut. He debuted as part of SUPER JUNIOR-T (슈퍼주니어-T), focusing on trot music, in February 2007 with their single album “Rokkugo!!!”. Then, in May 2008, he became part of SUPER JUNIOR-H (슈퍼주니어-Happy) and debuted with their single album “Cooking? Cooking!”.
In February 2011, he was added to the subgroup SUPER JUNIOR-M (슈퍼주니어-M), focused solely on the Chinese market. They had debuted in April 2008 but temporarily disbanded about a year later when member Han Geng sued SM to terminate his contract. The subgroup was restructured, and he was added as a new member for their EP, "Perfection".
He married musical actress Kim Sa Eun in December 2014. The couple welcomed their first child in September 2024.
He enlisted for his mandatory service on March 31, 2015, and was discharged on December 30, 2016. Since he enlisted, he has never returned to SUPER JUNIOR's lineup but has not officially left the group either. SM considers him as a "member in hiatus". He has continued his career in musical theater and also tried trot music for a while.
