Mei Jo Ying is a Taiwanese theater worker who graduated from the Graduate Institute of Theatre Arts (國立台北藝術大學劇場藝術研究所) at National Taipei University of the Arts, majoring in acting. While at university, she performed in workshop theaters and at Xiang Sheng Wa She (相聲瓦舍). She has collaborated with various groups, including the External Appearance Workshop (外表坊) and the Shakespeare's Sisters troupe (莎士比亞的妹妹們), on multiple stage productions. In recent years, she has also taken on teaching roles, instructing at the Department of Film at the National Taipei University of the Arts and Huagang Art School (華岡藝校), and serving as an acting instructor for film and television.
