Tai Ailing is a Taiwanese singer from the Paiwan tribe, with noble ancestry from Guichong, Pingtung, Taiwan.

She began her music career by signing with Kuanshih Records (滾石唱片) in 1998. In 2001, she was signed by Yao Chien (姚謙) to Weichin Music (維京音樂), making her debut with the label in 2002 when she released her first album, "Magic," on February 26. After her contract with Weichin Music ended in 2004, she returned to performing live and signed with Sony Music (索尼音樂) in 2007.

In 2018, she served as a lecturer at the National Taiwan University Popular Music Singing Camp (台大流行音樂歌唱營). In February 2021, her contract with Sony Music expired, and on September 27, she announced her new signing with Warner Music (華納音樂).
