Fujiishi Osamu is a Japanese cinematographer and focus puller from Niigata, Japan. He studied at the College of Art at Nihon University (日本大学) but left in his third year due to financial difficulties. He is a member of the Japan Society of Cinematographers (J.S.C.; 日本映画撮影監督協会).

Fujiishi developed an interest in photography at a young age, influenced by his father. In high school, he joined the film club and shot 8mm independent films. During this time, he borrowed lighting equipment from Niigata Eiga-sha (新潟映画社) and sought employment there, eventually being referred to their Tokyo branch, which specialized in 16mm promotional films. He also worked briefly in the pink film industry.

After spending 11 years as an assistant cameraman, Fujiishi made his debut as a cinematographer in 1988 with the film "Sacred Virgin" (聖熟女).
