Ishibashi Yu is a Japanese actor from Tokyo. He graduated from the Department of Theatre at Nihon University (日本大学). He began his career with Top Coat (トップコート), later moved to Quore (クオーレ), and eventually joined Les Brillants (株式会社レ・ブリアン) after its management division became independent.

During his university years, he was an active core member of the Shoma Theatre Troupe (劇団ショーマ) until his departure in 1993. Since 2003, he has served as the head instructor at the Top Coat Actor Training School Artist & Artist (トップコート俳優養成スクールArtist&Artist).
