He signed a rookie contract with the KIA Tigers in October 2022 and joined them the following year. He made his debut on April 13 of that year in a relief appearance against the Hanwha Eagles. After the season ended, in November 2023, he joined the Canberra Cavalry in Australia on loan for 2 months before returning to South Korea to rejoin the KIA Tigers.
