Choi Yun Hui is a South Korean retired swimmer and politician. She graduated from Sangmyung Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree and a master's degree, both in Physical Education and both from Yonsei University.

She began swimming in kindergarten alongside her older sister Choi Yun Jung. Both sisters were nicknamed the "Seal Sisters" and won numerous competitions representing their high school.

She won 3 gold medals (100 m and 200 m backstroke and 200 m individual medley) at the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi and 2 golds and one bronze medal at the 1986 Asian Games in Seoul. She also participated in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles

In 1987, she became the first South Korean model for the Japanese sports drink brand Pocari Sweat. In 2017, she was named the first ever woman to become board member of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee.

She served as the 2nd Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism under President Moon Jae In from 2019 to 2020.

She is married to musician Yoo Hyun Sang.
