Kim Bu Gyeom is a South Korean politician, activitist and former Prime Minister. He was enrolled in the Political Science program at Seoul National University in 1976, but he was expelled for taking part in the protests against the Yushin Constitution in 1977. After appealing, he was readmitted but then expelled again for violating the martial law in 1980. He was later reinstated a second time and finally received his degree in 1987.

He became one of the founders of the center-left Hankyoreh Democratic Party (HDP) in 1988 but as no candidate from the party was elected, it was de-registered. He joined the Democratic Party in 1991 and served as the party's spokesperson before being arrested in 1992 when news emerged of him receiving a bribe from a North Korean spy for the 1988 election.

He held several positions in regional and federal government during his career. He was named South Korea's Prime Minister in May 2021 after Chung Sye Kyun resigned to seek a Presidential candidacy. His term ended one year later and he quietly retired from active politics, remaining as one of the party's chairmen and also became the director of the Hankyoreh Unification Culture Foundation.

He is the father of actress Kim Ji Su (known professionally as Yoon Se In).
