Oki Hiroyuki was a Japanese director and visual artist. He studied in the Department of Architecture at the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Engineering, and started experimenting with film around the same time.

In 1990, he received the Special Jury Prize at the Image Forum Festival for his film Swimming Prohibited, and in 1996, the NETPAC Award at the 46th Berlin International Film Festival for HEAVEN-6-BOX (1995). Aside from film, he also worked in the fields of drawing, installation, and performance.

On October 14, 2025, he passed away at the age of 61.
