Lee Taek Keun is a South Korean retired baseball player turned commentator. He graduated from Gyeongnam Commercial High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Korea University.

In 1998, he was selected for the South Korea national junior team that finished in 3rd place at the 1998 Asian Junior Baseball Championship in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Then, instead of turning pro after graduating high school, he chose to go to college. In his freshman year at Korea University, he was called up to the South Korea national baseball team, and participated in the 1999 Intercontinental Cup.

He turned pro in 2003 when he signed with the Hyundai Unicorns. Before the start of the 2006 season he became a permanent outfielder. He was selected to the All-Star team and won his first KBO League Golden Glove Award.

Internationally, he won the gold medal with the South Korean national team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and, one year later, finished in 2nd place at the 2009 World Baseball Classic.

In May 2015, he struck teammate Moon Woo Ram in the face with a bat, causing a concussion and swelling. The attack followed a verbal confrontation over Moon's refusal to get a haircut. The Korean Baseball Organization suspended him for 36 games starting in 2019.

He retired at the end of the 2020 season and became a commentator for SBS Sports.
