The band was formed in 2022 and was originally called SAEHAMANO (새하마노). They began performing at rock festivals and other outdoor concerts and events. Then, they signed with Antenna (안테나), spending 2 years in training. By early 2024, the agency decided to rebrand the band as DRAGON PONY.
He made his official debut in September 2024 as the band's guitarist with their first EP, "Pop Up".
