Kim Chae Yeon is a South Korean figure skater. She graduated from Suri High School.

She began skating in 2017 when she was in the fifth grade and placed 4th in the junior category at the 2020 South Korean Championships. The next year, she placed 9th at the senior category and was able to earn a spot in the senior national team.

She became well-known after medalling at the 2024 World Championships after practicing figure skating for only 7 years, a rare feat in the history of the sport. She then won gold at the 2025 Asian Winter Games and at the 2025 Four Continents Championships.

She is affiliated with All That Sports (올댓스포츠).
