Eddie Tse is a Taiwanese director and screenwriter. He moved to New Zealand during secondary school and later graduated from the Directing Department of the School of Performing and Screen Arts at UNITEC in Auckland. While studying, he wrote four full-length novels, which were published in both Mainland China and Taiwan. After graduation, he directed television commercials in New Zealand and China. He returned to China in 2011, and in 2013, wrote and directed his first theatrical feature film, The Deathday Party (死亡派对).
