Ahn Chang Rim is a South Korean retired judoka. He graduated from Yongin University with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education. He was born in Kyoto to third generation Zainichi Korean parents and grew up in Japan.

He began practicing judo since elementary school and competed in regional tournaments. However, he was never willing to represent Japan at the national level because he always refused to naturalize and decided to represent South Korea. He began his competitive senior career in 2014, representing Korea at the 2014 World Judo Championships in the under 73 kilograms category.

He obtained several medals at World Championships. Summer Universiades, Asian Games, Asian Championships and other international competitions. He represented South Korea at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio where he was seeded as the top judoka but failed to medal. Later, he attended the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo (delayed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and obtained a bronze medal.

He retired at the end of 2021 and is now a coach and a guest commentator during the Olympics.
