Liu Miao Miao is a Chinese director and screenwriter born in Guyan, Ningxia, China. She graduated from the directing department of Beijing Film Academy in 1982. In 1992, she became the director of the Ningxia film studios. She has also taught cinema from 2004 to 2008 as a guest teacher at Beijing University, Beijing Normal University, and Beijing Film academy.
