He first appeared on TV as an independent trainee in the singing survival show "Boys II Planet", where he was eliminated in the earlier rounds. After the show, he signed with Modhaus (모드하우스) and was supposed to debut as part of the agency's 24-member group IDNTT. However, due to circumstances that were never revealed, he decided to leave the company and is now trying to become an actor once again.
