At the age of 13, Tsering appeared in her first-ever advertising campaign as a model, an advertisement for Tibetan medicine. Although she made her film debut in "Zhanian Instrument" (1999), it wasn't until 2008 that she received her first leading role in the series "Changpiao Zhuangge."
In 2002, Tsering won the Tourism Ambassador of Tibet trials. The following year, she got first place in the "Fifty-six Golden Flower Beauty Pageant of National Minorities" contest. In 2009, Tsering was the first-place winner of the talent show "Come on! Oriental Angels."
