Wei Ming was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. He attended and graduated from Guangzhou Tourism and Business Vocational School and Red Deer College. From 1996 to 2000, he studied animation courses in Canada where he came into contact with online animation during his years abroad. After completing his studies, he returned to China to develop his career in animation production. He has since produced and worked on numerous animations, and founded Happy Toon Co., Ltd (广东明星创意动画有限公司) where he serves as the general manager.
