- Name: Jung Jae Hwan
- Native name: 정재환
- Also Known as: Jeong Gwang Cheol, 정광철, Jeong Jae Hwan
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: September 29, 1961

He made his debut in 1979 when he was chosen by TBC, appearing as part of a gag duo in the network's comedy show. However, comedians at that time needed to be either ugly or funny, and, as he was considered "too handsome" for television, he faced several years of obscurity.
In 1983, he was hired by MBC and became the MC of the show "Young 11", marking a change in his career. He stopped working as a comedian and later made his acting debut in 1987 in a theatrical play, the following year in his first musical, and in 1989 he appeared in a supporting role in his first movie. In 1991, he even debuted as a folk rock singer but he primarily remained as a host for several cultural and social affairs programs at MBC. He briefly returned to comedy before moving to SBS in late 1991.
He is now a full-time professor of Korean Language and Literature at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and Myongji University and a lecturer at other universities.
