Park Jung Min is a South Korean singer, dancer, musical actor and member of SS501 (더블에스오공일). He graduated from Dankook University Affiliated High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Studies from Kyunghee Cyber ​​University.

He made his debut in June 2005 as the group's lead dancer, vocalist and rapper with their first EP, "Warning". In 2007, they entered the Japanese market with the single "Kokoro", which debuted at number five on the Oricon chart. The following year, they became the first South Korean artists to win the award for Best New Artist at the Japan Gold Disc Awards. The group was represented by DSP Media (DSP미디어).

He made his debut as a musical actor in early 2009 with a role in the musical "Grease", for which he won the Best New Musical Talent Award at the Golden Ticket Awards.

In 2010, his contract with DSP expired and he signed with CNR Media. As all members signed with different agencies and no company wanted to take them as a group, they decided to go on an indefinite hiatus in late 2010 to focus on their individual activities. He began appearing in more musicals and also was cast in Japanese and Taiwanese dramas.

He enlisted in his mandatory military service on July 2, 2015 and was discharged on July 1, 2017.

He is the owner of an online shopping mall called "Royal Avenue" and has now a branch in China.

The group has confirmed they will reunite at some point in early 2025 to release a Japanese album to commemorate their 20th anniversary.
