Ahn Jung Yup is a South Korean singer-songwriter, composer, lyricist, and member of BROWN EYED SOUL (브라운 아이드 소울) and COSMIC CHIPS (코스믹 칩스). He graduated from Daejin University with a bachelor's degree in American Studies and later obtained a master's degree in Arts Management from Dongguk University.

He made his debut in September 2003 as BROWN EYED SOUL's leader and vocalist with their first album, "Soul Free". They released music intermittently, with their 2nd album coming 4 years later in 2007.

In 2023, their contract with Longplay Music ended, and they are currently managed by InNextTrend (인넥스트트렌드). He also joined 4 other musicians and became the leader of independent R&B funk band COSMIC CHIPS, debuting in November of that year with their first album, "Groove Circuit".
