Seo Kyoung Duk is a South Korean social activist, journalist, and professor. He graduated from Seongnam High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Sungkyunkwan University. He also earned a master's degree in Horticultural Science and a Ph.D. in Environmental Ecological Engineering, both from Korea University.

His research interests include national branding, city branding, and social contribution. He gained public recognition through an advertisement of the Liancourt Rocks (called Dokdo in South Korea) that appeared in the New York Times in 2005. He has been a professor of Social Sciences at Sungshin Women's University since 2007 and serves as an active promoter of the South Korean culture.
