Dr. Sopawan Boonnimitra, nicknamed Yui, is a Thai director, producer and photographer. She completed her PhD in Fine Arts at the Malmö Art Academy, Lund University in 2006 and was head of the Film Department at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. She continues to make documentaries with her long-time collaborator Dr. Peerachai Kerdsint through their production company Dream Sequenze (ดรีม ซีเควนซ์).
