Hwang Ba Ul is a South Korean singer, musical actor, and former member of FREES (프리즈) and DREAM EYE (드림아이). He graduated from Hoseo University with a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and later obtained a master's degree in Musical Theater from Dankook University.

He made his debut in November 2006 as part of the co-ed group FREES with their first album, "Tell Me Your Dream". The group enjoyed some popularity among children and young teenagers and launched their own kids' variety show, "Viva Frees!" almost simultaneously. However, after a few more digital tracks, they ended up disbanding in early 2009.

Later in 2009, he re-debuted as part of DREAM EYE with their first album, "Dream Eye I". Unfortunately, they were not commercially successful and disbanded shortly after the promotion period ended.

He then became a musical actor and has appeared in several shows since early 2011. He married BABY V.O.X's Kan Mi Youn in November 2019. He is represented by Management 2Z (매니지먼트 이지).
