Kim Jin Gyu, known professionally as Jin Geon U, is a South Korean actor, singer and former member of SURPRISE U (서프라이즈 U).

He made his debut in 2017 with roles in the dramas "Idol Fever" and "Sweet Revenge". At the same time, Fantagio (판타지오) decided to form a group made up entirely of actors who were able to sing. So, he joined SURPRISE U and made his singing debut in July 2017 with the single "I Do".

However, the sudden passing of group member Cha In Ha in December 2019 caused them to go on indefinite hiatus, and they have not released any material since then so, he is focusing on his acting career.
