Ren Shuai is a Chinese composer from Taiyuan, Shanxi, China. She is a member of the Chinese Musicians Association and has served as the music supervisor and composer for many film and television productions.

Ren Shuai began her film and television music scoring career at the age of 16 by composing music for the CCTV documentary "A City and a Museum". In 2017, she collaborated with Grammy winner Alex Geringas to create the song "Our Childhood". She graduated from UCLA, majoring in film score. During her studies in the United States, she interned at Remote Control Productions, the company of Hollywood film score composer Hans Zimmer, and participated in the music composition of many films, animated films and commercials.
