Jang Hee Yeon, known professionally as Nine9, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, musician, and member of DEAR CLOUD (디어클라우드). He graduated from the Seoul Institute of the Arts with an associate's degree in Applied Music.

In 2004, he performed as a rock singer in underground clubs. The following year, he joined 4 other musicians from his university and began appearing in small events. He made his official debut in 2007 as the band's vocalist and guitarist with their first album, also titled "Dear Cloud". They were originally represented by Toy Music (now Antenna), and the agency wanted him to portray an androgynous image.

He made his debut as a solo artist in 2010 with the soundtrack for "Humming & Drawing", a book written by him. He released his first solo album, "9Stories", in 2012. The band is represented by My Music (엠와이뮤직).
