Im Sung Geun is a South Korean chef.

He had a difficult childhood as he was raised by a single mother and was the youngest sibling. So, during middle school, he ran away from the countryside and worked in a professional kitchen, washing dishes and preparing food. He returned home after 6 months, graduated from middle school, but then ran away again.

After establishing himself as a chef, he dedicated himself exclusively to Korean cuisine at many restaurants, building his career. As a result, he became a Master Chef at the age of 44. He is considered a top-tier Korean cuisine expert with 40 years of experience. He has received multiple awards from the government and has been part of several organizations like the Korean Chef's Association, among many more.
